Free for paid members. Includes an 8-foot table to display company materials, the opportunity to address group with a short presentation describing the company and services provided, and a hosted reception with buffet style lunch for up to two people.

Bowl-O-Rama 2026
You’re invited to an afternoon of friendly tournament play, finely crafted food, and fun with your hospitality colleagues. Most importantly, help us raise funds to support the Sacramento Hotel Association scholarship program. The Bowl-O-Rama will be a Round-Robin style tournament with 4-person teams, each team playing one game. All levels of bowlers welcome!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Team Check-In: 12:30pm
Full Event Hours: 12:30 to 4:00pm
Bowling Tournament and Light Savory Bites: 1:00 to 3:00pm
* First set of teams plays 1:00 – 2:00pm
* Second set of teams plays 2:00 – 3:00 pm
Awards Reception: 3:00 to 3:30 pm
TOURNAMENT TEAM REGISTRATION
Teams of four (4) are required to participate in the tournament. Your property or company is encouraged to register multiple teams. Each team will need a name – get creative but keep it clean! There is a prize for best team name.
Fee: $300 per team – The team fee includes tournament play, shoe rental, two drink tickets per bowler, an awards reception and heavy appetizers for each team member.

Not a bowler but still want to attend? Register to join in the fun at the Awards Reception and Hot Buffet.

Award Nominations
Each year SHA recognizes outstanding employees from our member properties and one outstanding SHA vendor member. The awards will be presented at the SHA Hospitality Gala on March 26, 2026 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento. Nominations are now closed.
Hospitality Employees of the Year
Criteria: Outstanding performance; has a positive attitude and a true sense of caring; a team player or leader always willing to perform beyond job requirements. Please provide examples where appropriate. Must be from an SHA member property. Each hospitality employee nominee will be honored by the Sacramento Hotel Association at the Hospitality Gala as an “Employees of the Year.” Each employee nominated will receive an engraved award from SHA as well as be recognized on stage by the nominator.
Vendor Member of the Year
Criteria: Outstanding contributions to the hospitality community; performs above and beyond expectations. This performance reflects positively on the company. Please provide examples where appropriate. Must be a SHA member. One key vendor company will be honored by the Sacramento Hotel Association at the Hospitality Gala as the “Vendor Member of the Year.”

2026 Swinging Fore Scholarships
Join us at Swinging Fore Scholarships, an annual golf tournament benefiting the Sacramento Hotel Association’s scholarship program. Each year we distribute thousands of dollars in scholarships to college students striving for careers in the hospitality industry. These students are our future and it’s because of events like this we can support them.
