Full Event Hours - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Bowling Tournament and Light Savory Bites - 1:00pm - 3:00pm
*First set of teams plays 1:00pm-2:00pm
*Second set of teams plays 2:00pm-3:00 pm
Awards – 3:30 pm
Beverages - One drink ticket provided per bowler
What to expect?
Arrive with your bowling team of four, grab some snacks, a drink and your bowling shoes and head to your lane for the tournament to begin. We can have up to 28 teams of four and may have 2 start times depending on the number of teams registered. Each team will play one full game and is welcome to mix and mingle during the times they are not on their assigned lane.
Once all games are completed, the event will move outdoors for a tailgate-style awards reception with delicious food generously provided by SHA hotel members. Don’t leave early because you will want to see the tournament winners accept their awards, learn who the ‘just for fun” award recipients are AND find out if you are a lucky winner of an amazing raffle prize!
The Cause
Each year the Sacramento Hotel Association awards at least two local college students with a $2,000 scholarship. These students must be studying hospitality and tourism management or something related to qualify. This fund directly supports young people striving to work in our community, a community that often struggles to attain and retain employees. These scholarships are just one way we are working to grow this industry we all know and love.
The Details
TOURNAMENT TEAM REGISTRATION
Teams of four (4) are required to participate in the tournament. Your property or company is encouraged to register multiple teams. Each team will need a name – get creative but keep it clean! There is a prize for best team name.
The team fee includes tournament play, shoe rental, one drink ticket per bowler, an awards reception and heavy appetizers for each team member.
- Fee: $300 per team
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The Bowl-O-Rama will be a Round-Robin style tournament with 4-person teams, each team playing one game. Bowlers of all skill levels welcome.
Awards include:
- Team Awards - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (given to highest team scores)
- Highest Score (individual)
- Lowest Score (individual)
- Lowest Score (team)
- Best Team Name
AWARDS RECEPTION AND HOT BUFFET TICKETS

Fee: $40 per person
RAFFLE TICKETS
The Bowl-O-Rama includes opportunities to win great prizes during the raffle drawings. Lucky ticket holders will have a chance to win things like weekend getaways, gift certificates, specialty wines, dinner, brunch certificates and more.
TOURNAMENT ATTIRE
Tournament bowlers, sponsors and reception guests are expected to dress in a conventional and appropriate manner that conforms to generally accepted standards of good taste for similar private bowling tournaments.
SHOES
Bowling shoe rentals are included in your team’s registration fee. If you have your own bowling shoes, plan to bring your shoes.

By participating in any aspect of this bowling tournament and associated activities as well as use of any equipment provided by SHA, Punch Bowl Social Sacramento, its sponsors, other representatives, and/or players, you hereby release and waive these individuals/ organizations from any damages, liability, or costs incurred by you or your family arising out of this Tournament and associated activities, including but not limited to the consumption of alcoholic beverages, bowling or the acts of other individuals participating in the Tournament and all related activities; and further agree to hold harmless these individuals/organizations for any damages, injuries, or liabilities arising out of this Tournament and related activities/equipment.
